We're In!!!!

Oh my goodness!   We have moved in and have a garage FULL of boxes (mosty craft stuff) LOL!  I have just finished hooking up my daughters computer so am sneaking a  little time for myself.  My husband and daughter have been a godsend.  My husband is 67 years old - where he gets his energy from I will never know....he has been busy moving boxes, putting shelving and beds together....moving and repositioning furniture and NEVER a complaint!  I am sooooo blessed to have him in my life.!!!!  Our dogs are taking a bit to get adjusted but that`s to be expected.  Of course they had to come in and  ``mark`` their new territory!! LOL!  I on the other hand have discovered just how out of shape I am in and need to take better care of myself and definitely lose some of this weight. I have some fellows coming out tomorrow to lay the laminate in the craft room and then we (Jim) will be moving my boxes in there so that should definitely clear uphalf of the garage.

I have some blog candy coming to celebrate the move into the new house so stay tuned.......

We're almost there!

Just a few  more days and we will be in our new house! Moving day is Friday and we just can't wait.  I have been busy packing up my little craft room and my husband will be taking the desk apart on Thursday so you won't be hearing from me for a few days.  I have been neglecting my blog lately because of the move but promise to have some yummy blog candy posted as a celebration for moving into our new home and my very own larger craft room.....So for now I am going to go back into my files and see if I can find a card that may inspire someone out there in cyberland.... I LOVE these "Riley" images don't you?  I made the card for my brother in laws retirement....

Card challenge

Found this card  layout challenge on SCS and offered it to my 10 4 10 group that are coming over this week.  Here is my entry.....we will all put the cards in a pile and draw a name from those that participated and that person will get to take all of the cards home with them.  I will throw in a cute little stamp as well.  The DSP is from the SU Occasions mini "Walk in the Park" and the teeny little flower stamp is from SU Razzle Dazzle from the new catalogue. The card stock is SU Basic Black and SU Shimmery Silver.  I used a Nestabilities Die for the outside of the flower image and made a matching envelope to go with the card.

Am I having fun or what?????  I LOVE making these cards.  Got this SU set "Cheep Talk" today in the mail and just had to make something with it.  What do you think:

Stamps:  SU Cheep Talk; Inl: SU markers - Bordering Blue, Always Artichoke, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip

Paper: SU Bordering Blue, Chocolate Chip, Yellow paper is non SU and SU DSP Bella Birds

The little rhinestone brads I found at the dollar store.  The little bit of linen thread I used to hang the bird house is from SU.  I also used a SU punch for the little flowers that I stuck the brads into.
