This is one of the new colors that SU came out with this year! I just had to try it out.
I made the flower by using the SU scallop punch. I punched out a bunch of scalloped circles and smeared ink on them randomly. Then I scrunched up the scalloped circles and layered them, stuck a brad in the middle and fluffed it up. The base of the flower is a punchout from the 5 petal punch and then I used a MS punch for the leaves. The lighter color is the Wisteria Wonder and the dark purple color is actually the backside of some retired SU DSP that I had. The lighter DSP is one side of the paper and the dark purple is the other side.
I used the new scallop square punch and punched out three squares of the Wisteria Wonder cardstock and embossed the words "thanks" onto one of them. The words are from the new set "Pretty Postage" which can be found in the Summer Mini Catalogue.
This is a very simple card to make and uses up some of the little scraps I had laying around. I like the contrasting colors of the purple and white. What do you think?
